This event is part of the US Water Alliance’s Imagine a Day Without Water, and the opening of well · ness at The Commonwealth, Sweet Water Foundation’s inaugural art exhibition in the Thought Barn.
The event features panelists Emmanuel Pratt, Sweet Water Foundation Executive Director; Iñigo Manglano-Ovalle, Toward Common Cause exhibiting artist; Debra Shore, Commissioners of the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago; and Amy Stelly, artist, designer, urban planner, and SWF Human in Residence.

If art for me is a platform from which to speak, but not tell you something, that’s good. If that’s a way I give you a platform from which to think and debate, that’s even better. Ultimately, art for me does not reside in the object: it resides in what is said about the object.
