Artmaking Workshop: Xu Bing’s Forest Project (Families)
Hyde Park/Kenwood Families—come paint with ink on rice paper!
Join us at the Blackstone Library for a special in-person workshop. Museum educator Erik Peterson from the Smart Museum of Art will talk about the work of Toward Common Cause exhibiting artist Xu Bing and traditional East Asian brush paintings.
Families will then get to create their own treehouses and forests with colorful inks on rice paper.
FREE, but space is limited to 13 participants. Please register online or at the library. All materials will be provided by the Smart Museum.
